ADVENTURE OUTSIDE THE RESORT

ADVENTURE OUTSIDE THE RESORT

Tulum Ruins: Explore the ruins and don't forget to bring your swim trunks as you can swim right under them!

Coba Ruins:  These ruins are home to the tallest pyramid in the Yucatan. Rent bikes and ride through the jungle as you pass ancient Mayan Hand Ball courts and pyramids. The Ruins are about 50 minutes from Tulum by car.

Cenotes: Cenotes are the freshwater pools and caves that are prevalent throughout this part of Mexico. You will see signs to tons of them, but two below are the most popular. Snorkeling and Scuba tours are available through a variety of shops in town. (some popular cenotes include the Gran Cenote and Cenote Dos Ojos)

Sian Ka'an Biosphere: Tulum is home to an expansive bioreserve called Sian Ka'an. It is at the end of the beach road, and there are all sorts of things you can do to explore: bird watching, sport fishing, kayaking, hiking, snorkeling, archaeological sites, floating on mangrove-surrounded rivers. There are also a few restaurants with rooftop views of the sunset over the jungle.
